Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission will be participating in March for Meals month. The month long campaign's purpose it to focus attention to the issue of senior hunger and to rally the support of the local community in supporting their Meals on Wheels Program. Got Trained Workers? We Do! Occupation Credential Program students are trained in job skills and employable soft skills. OCP is connection trained workers and local businesses. The mission of the OCP of Lexington School District 1 is to prepare students to be career ready and to live independently. Students are experienced in a variety of job settings in the local community and on the school campus.

Make plans to attend the Junior Miss Panter Pageant. There will be an opening dance number, introduction of the contestans, formal wear and crowning. Program books will be available for $5.00. Tickets in advanced are $5.00 or $7.00 at the door.
Special Needs Community Day Meet and Greet Local Public Safety

This event has been organized to provide a familarity and understanding of first responders, their vehicles, and the equipment that they use.
Many of the organizations and businesses that serve the special needs community in the Midlands will also be participating in this event.
It's All About Herbs Festival
Saturday, April 11 from 9am to 4pm.
Lexington Sounty Museum, 231 Fox Street, Lexington SC
Plant sale with numberous varieties of herbs and other plants grown especially for our festival, free admission. There are three limited seated, $5 ticketed educational seminars. A $15 ticketed, limited seated, event featuring teas and delicacies will be presented by our members. There will also be a silent auction, food vendors, and many herbs for sell by local farmers.
